This was our go-to gelateria in Venice, located on Calle de le Rasse not far from St Mark's Square, and we made a point of going every day. At first we were attracted by their Trip Advisor seal of approval, but then we were hooked after the first taste! We learned that their gelato is only made from the actual fruit and natural ingredients, thus accounting for the wonderful flavors.
The man running the shop, a native Venitian, was very friendly and engaging, and remembered us each day we returned - by the end he seemed like a long lost friend. This was a sister shop of their main gelato store located on Murano island, which we also visited based on his recommendation, and was equally great.
Highly recommended for gelato in Venice.

I loved this place when I visited Venice last month. The gelato was super creamy and each scoop is pretty big. The siblings are so sweet (pun intended) and made suggestions on what flavors go with what. The locals say that there's always a new flavor to try --this time it was popcorn-flavored gelato. I tried the Amaretto and it was sublime! Will have to visit again.

Amazing gelato, perfect for an on-the-go treat as you walk around Venice. The service is very quick and friendly. My grandparents and I are trying to go to as many local places as possible while in Venice and this was a great stop. I highly recommend Murano Gelateria to anyone and everyone that loves gelato!

Awesome gelato place. Server was so kind and answered our questions and gave us free samples. We had the almond and coffee gelati- delicious with strong, fresh flavors. Definitely check this place out!
